    I loved Vikings, even the later seasons, though they were a bit muddled. And I'm enjoying part of the show at least, the fight for England pre Norman invasion.

    The Christians vs. Pagans storyline is truly boring and seems to be contrived just to give the female cast something to do. That and adding diversity hires. It would make no sense to have a shownabout African History have white actors or characters. It's a shame that corporate diversity and inclusion standards force this unnecessary virtue signaling. White people are allowed to have their own culture, and anyone can enjoy it. Just as any other race deserves their's and I'd love to watch those shows too.    … Expand

    netfilix przedstawią nam nową sagę wikingów... niestety nie ma tutaj już tak polubionego Ragnara, i nawet Ivara. Jednak od samego początku można było się kapnąć że ich nie będzie bo jest 100 lat po wydarzeniach z poprzedniego serialiu.

    I wanted so much to love this show like I loved the original series . I just found the characters boring and the plot meandering.

    The vast audience for Vikings is clearly the target for Valhalla, and those viewers won’t be disappointed, but they also won’t be blown away; the show takes a while to find its way.

    Just like its parent show, Vikings: Valhalla is not going to be everyone’s cup of tea. But for fans of the genre, Valhalla does a good job of continuing the story established in Vikings.

    So, sure, the show can sometimes feel like a montage of strapping, bearded men introducing themselves to each other before beating each other up. But “Valhalla” also demonstrates enough ambition and handle on its characters and pivotal time period to justify diving into its world, no matter how much you may have known about it before taking the plunge.
