This is one of the most beautiful and incredibly entertaining shows I've ever seen. The actors are amazing. But you have to watch on Netflix. Do NOT watch on Ovation!! The quality is so terrible on TV I'm not surprised at the bad ratings.

This is a lavish production shot on location and merely for the visual aspect it would deserve a 10. Everything is beautiful, refined and sophisticated in Louis world. Definitely not historically accurate, the plot compress events that took place during the course of decades and invents other for entertainment's sake. The multitude of characters is intriguing and flawed, full of contradictions, like real human beings.

Shame about the ending. The last episode of series 3 is a major letdown. Not much makes sense with the behaviour of the main characters who all seemed ready for a change, but end up in the same old rut and making absurd choices. With a better ending it would have been a 9 or even a 10.… Expand
