    This is an interesting bit of history that wasn’t taught in high school. George Washington had a network of spies working for him.

    The characters and story lines are interesting enough to make the audience come back for the next episode. Unfortunately, like most TV shows today, “Turn” only offers a handful of shows before going on hiatus for a year; which means the first episode of the new season has to spend a few minutes reminding the audience what happened the previous year.

    While his character was not written for comic relief, every time I hear the actor who plays Simcoe talk, I think of someone who has sucked helium out of a balloon. His voice sounds like some cartoon character.

    I couldn't get into it. I figured after 8 episodes or so that it should have started pulling me in, but I found myself surfing my phone waiting for something good to happen. I wonder if I would have been more patient if it would get better, but at this point it's a no go for me.
