Season 3 Review: Despite the jargon fetish, the dialogue has actually improved in series three. McClure is still the best thing in it, with Kerry Godliman as Sonya, the bomb data specialist, a close second. But the plot is no less preposterous. In fact, it is more so. Read full review

Season 1 Review: Trigger Point has lots of tension, and a fair amount of action. What it doesn’t really have is much character development or an intriguing central plot. But you try to look away as Lana tries to defuse bomb after bomb after bomb. Read full review

Season 1 Review: It’s a show that reminds us how very brave bomb disposal officers are. I’m just not sure yet if long sequences watching wires being snipped in bathrooms makes for very good telly. We’ll see. At least McClure, who I thought always got the worst lines in LoD, has centre stage here and, after a slow start, there’s enough to keep watching — for now. Read full review

Season 1 Review: It’s great fun as long as you set your preposterousness levels to “high”. Go in thinking CSI: Peckham or Line of Bomb Duty or Bomby McBombface, rather than The Wire But With Actual Wires or Breaking Explosively Badly and you’ll enjoy yourself a lot more. Read full review
