Sorry. It's a mess. Narrative, pace, tone. What character development? Nothing is sticking. I have reached Episode 4 and I cannot take another step.

If you are too stupid to follow... sorry you can't fix stupid. Great backstory... you actually have to pay attention. Action is almost believable except of course when a 120 pound female wins a hand to hand combat scene against a 200+ male soldier! Hollywood come on, for fsakes. Otherwise it is great!

In its effort to keep secrets for later the first 7 of the 10 episodes, at least (being as far as I could stand it) are a mess that you'll have to be very patient to sit through. The actors barely manage to give the characters any substance at all (Han Hyo-joo is the only one that comes away looking good. without her this would be a solid 0 out of 10) so there's little motivation toIn its effort to keep secrets for later the first 7 of the 10 episodes, at least (being as far as I could stand it) are a mess that you'll have to be very patient to sit through. The actors barely manage to give the characters any substance at all (Han Hyo-joo is the only one that comes away looking good. without her this would be a solid 0 out of 10) so there's little motivation to continue watching to see what happens to them. Meanwhile there are too many threads ongoing at once to just check your brain at the door and watch it for the entertainment. The too many threads also has led to a lot of mediocre padding, which isn't that surprising when they're trying to spin a one trick pony into a whole circus act. I could stand a bit of padding if the rest was really good, but it's not. So what we have is something that works on no levels at all, leaving you wondering why you watched it for so long before you gave up. Expand

The show is just all over the place, constantly swapping between different times and characters, there's no real attachment to the characters.

This show has a lot of potential but I can't quite catch the Bourne connection except the super soldier experiment.Still I would recommend this show.

Treadstone is the far more simplistic and far less cool cousin, in both its direction and its dialogue, a show in need of an added oomph to turn it into something really special. But as it stands, as a show we really didn’t need in the first place, it’s a pacy and entertaining journey that does more than it could have done with the loose pitch of finding a way to force Bourne back on to the small screen.

This one is heavy on scenery and action, and thin on profundity.

It’s a visually stimulating series that looks to have filmed in many locations around the world, leaving viewers with curiosities aroused just enough to keep tuning in for more if only for the fights.
