Could have been much better, there a few nice moments, a few nice catchs, but overall i don't really think that it did reached even close to what they wanted. Really weak ending by the way. Expand

So much potential, but it is wasted.

Some parts are cool, but i'm usually left feeling angry and confused by the characters motivation. "Why did that character kill that person?" I would ask my self only to realize it was put in to be edgy. "Why would a character say something like that?" I would ask myself only to realize it again is to be EDGY.

Although it is a step forward from the other DC series, ultimately it fell short in many aspects. The writing is quite lazy at times and too predictable. It goes out of the way to appear edgy and grit but ultimately it feels insincere and forced -- showing more violence and blood is not enough. Last, in this show there are too many side-plots, flashback, alternative futures... I feel likeAlthough it is a step forward from the other DC series, ultimately it fell short in many aspects. Just like all the other super heroes tv shows (Either Marvel or DC), I expected to dislike this show and not go further than a couple episodes. Surprisingly, I enjoyed it at first, until episode 8. Then the show goes into an incredibly boring and convoluted third act, going absolutely everywhere and nowhere at the same time. I have never seen such an anticlimatic third act in a TV show. It took me one night to watch the first 8 episodes, then 4 days to finish the last 4 ones. I won't watch season 2. By the way, the show is really annoying when it purposely don't want to show important characters like Batman or the Joker. It looks so cheap... Expand

Watching Titans was confusing and entertaining at the same time. If that makes any sense.

It made me shake my head when Raven was one screen, it made me role my eyes with the poor choreographed fight scenes, but it made me hopeful at the potentially great story that can come.People were bashing starfire simply for her suit, but in my opinion she was the best part of the pilot. But

But it's a promising start, for the series, and i really think that this slow start will payoff in the end (of the season)

"Titans: Season 1" is a very enjoyable series for fans of comics and Teen Titans, but that doesn't take away the mistakes that the series has, such as a narrative that sometimes becomes stupid, a script that goes around a lot and some dialogues that become ridiculous.

Despite this, the series is interesting, it keeps you glued to the screen and I find interesting the most of the characters.

PROS: engaging main characters with great interactions between them; good music and visual effects. CONS: gratuitous violence; the main characters spend very little time together; unsatisfying season story arc resolution; uninteresting secondary characters; it takes itself too seriously for a fantasy story with super-powered characters dressed in costumes.

It was a season a couple of clicks above average. A humble series with a different vibe, hopefully this will continue its stability.

Titans is a superhero hybrid -- a live-action series that essentially weds the CW's DC Comics-inspired fare with the gritty, premium-cable approach of Marvel's Netflix dramas. That's not a bad formula, and it yields an entertaining, heavily serialized show.

The superhero Sturm und Drang and personal melodrama that Titans offers is attractively packaged and reasonably entertaining in the early episodes. ... If you’re partial to the more serious end of the comic-book spectrum, you may already be watching “Black Lightning” on CW, “Jessica Jones” and a few others on Netflix, “Legion” on FX, “The Runaways” on Hulu and “Gotham” on Fox. “Titans” may deserve to join the list, but it’s a big ask.

Thwaites doesn’t have anything near the gravitas required to pull off this self-righteously vicious approach. If you’re going to say “Fuck Batman,” that’s your right. But you’d better back it up with more than what Titans has to offer, or you just seem like a frustrated poseur who wants to seem much tougher and cooler than you can ever hope to be.
