The plot is somewhat reminiscent of Doctor Who minus the fun. Characters are boring and uninteresting, story is bland, and they're not going to be altering the timeline until they make a last ditch effort towards the end of season 2 to save the show from cancellation. But hey, it's sci-fiâ„¢, so it must be good, right?

Such potential ...wasted and buried in pushy politics and bad acting.

The plot has too many cliches. Eye candy military guy with a cool head and a broken heart. Female historian with girl power oozing from every monosyllabic line she spews. This lady could give Kristen Stewart a run for her money in a 50-shades of non-expression contest. Talented black computer geek, who is the ONLY

Talented black computer geek, who is the ONLY real actor in the bunch ...but every other line he's lamenting black bias and commenting on racism in places that historically welcomed African Americans. Why can't they just be a cohesive team? Why don't they have back stories and personalities that make me care about them? The trailers made it look like the Mummy meets Dr. Who ...but the lack of chemistry and poor acting made it difficult to watch. So much potential... but the delivery needs some serious work.

More liberal hate mongering. Just paints every white man in history as an evil racist and everyone else as a noble victim. And from the previews, they're still going to use every tired time travel scenario ever - JFK, Lincoln, the Rat Pack, etc.

The idea for the show had promise, however, dreadful acting made it hard to take seriously, all they were short of was empty coffe cups. Pausing and looking into the air for dramatic effect dosen't work, how dumbed down are you people.

I've seen the first five episodes, and the series sucks. I don't care at all about the characters, the plots of the episodes are predictable and boring.

Although I think this is based on truth and the time travel programs that have been in existence forever, it has such programmed and poorly developed actors. I have NEVER seen such wooden performances on a TV show rated this high. The dialogue is long and boring with no point. It is poorly written and the action and relationships are slow and then. Really badly done show. Did I mentionAlthough I think this is based on truth and the time travel programs that have been in existence forever, it has such programmed and poorly developed actors. The initial premise of the show seemed somewhat interesting and I've given it 4 episodes. Aside from some decent effects and attempts to be true to time periods, the overall result is flat. Time travel as a concept in film is altogether unbelievable as while they mention that even small changes can have a larger impact there is almost nothing that is notable outside of the main characters that anyone seems to care about. A person gets shot/killed by a series lead - what are the ramifications? I guess I shouldn't care either and I've given this show enough of a run that I wont need to. Expand

Coincidentally they released the pilot in August of 2016 which garnered a lot of Hollywood attention. The initial premise was a father who was an astrophysicist owned a high tech laboratory and was trying to bring his wife who had died 10 years ago back to life. His son had been stuck helping him all those years working on the time machine. His father goes in without telling his son and dies, the son goes in after him to prevent his death and then the wave through time unleashes a dictator who discovers their time machine and uses it to alter history. They have to follow this dictator through history and prevent him from altering it so that the world doesn't end up in utter chaos. The points they ripped were the main character's wife being dead and him trying to bring her back to life which resulted in the madman ravaging through time altering history.

I have correspondence with my cohort dating back to January of 2016 on this project and proof of copyright, proof of Blacklist registration, correspondence through the Blacklist in email, correspondence with my cohort in email, etc. So, they somehow mysteriously came up with this idea that ensued a bidding war within weeks of me submitting it to them. I just find the coincidences too slim given the time frame and the plot points and motifs they ripped off of my script.

To further enhance my points, the executives whose "idea" it was didn't even write the script themselves. They pushed it onto other big name writers; and if they were attached to the idea in any way they would have written it themselves. This is the reason for my poor rating and I am extremely disappointed in the executives of the Blacklist for ripping those exact plot points off of my script.

I was a fan of the show until they did what all the liberal bias shows nowadays do and compared Trump to Hitler (episode said the evil guys were going to Make Germany Great Again). Sorry, enough is enough with divisionist politics, keep it out of my TV.

A wildly uneven action-adventure-fantasy drama from executive producers Eric Kripke ("Revolution," "Supernatural") and Shawn Ryan ("The Shield," "The Unit"), it awkwardly follows a scientist, a soldier and a history professor pursuing the mysterious criminal who stole a secret time machine.

After two episodes, the resulting impression is ambivalence. Without anything strong to latch onto, Timeless is adrift in a sea of medium feels, none pressing enough to justify continuing the journey. Well, none but Abigail Spencer.

Watching Timeless won't endanger your past or present, most likely, and it might even be a pleasant escape from the history we're currently living.
