This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This episode could have been a good starting point for the rest of the season. It's very authentic to the original lore, to the atmosphere of the books and games. The survival of Yen could have been written in a more convincing manner, and why she ended up in enemy hands. That's the only negative I can see. Expand

A charming adaptation of the short story, which retains the dark and gritty realities of the world in which our characters live.

Easily the best episode of the season, so enjoy it!

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The best episode in the season and the only one that has anything to do with books. Vereena is creepy as hell, good job.
Sadly, other episodes were closer to a trashcan than to the witcher books.

The best episode of the season. Beautiful, consistent and worth watching. Possibly the only episode worth your time from this season.

Witcher deserves better. Lauren should be fired from that show because she doesn't understand the Witcher world!

Cleverly developing the characters and story. Enough changes from the book to keep it interesting, without breaking the lore

Единственная серия, где можно хотя бы просто смотреть с удовольствием, но при этом наблюдать и кринжовать время от времени...

This felt magical and had a fairy tale feel with twists.
Pulls at the heart strings. Explores friendships and temptations. Beauty and the beast.

One of the some better things in this season was a Bruxa and Newellen. But... Please God, why she don't kiss him?! Symbol of LOVE. It was so important for destroed to curse! Why... It was no sense

Really just don't watch the rest, it's just waffle that uses jaskir as cheap comic relief.
