Jun 13, 2014I wanted to love this show because I really like Wil Wheaton but its just not that funny. I smiled a few times but I don't think I'll be a regular viewer.

May 28, 2014Loved the show! Wheaton knocked it out of the ballpark (with his wii from his basement) - fun and irreverent! This is the show I have been waiting for - keep it coming!

Jun 5, 2014There is some potential here, as Wil is very entertaining. The show has a great sense of fun. However, the canned laughter needs to go, it doesn't fit and it makes things feel too cheesy.

Jun 18, 2014He started a little stiff at first (though still fairly funny in a kind of web series kind of way) by the 3rd and 4th episode I was laughing my ass off and sharing the show :P He's getting better since playing around with Seth Green :P

Aug 24, 2014Mildly amusing.
Mr. Wheaton is likable enough, despite the overt smugness, to support this combination of news, commentary, and summer camp skit comedy through its 30 minute time slot.
Considering how bad the Scifi on SyFy is currently, TWWP is a singular bright spot in their lineup.

Despite a strong inaugural episode, there are still some kinks to be worked out. Wheaton, channeling a nervous energy, only appeared to relax fully during a few of his jokes, but much more of the material felt stilted. It's a small thing that will surely only get more streamlined as Wheaton settles into the role.
