The concierge was great and was the highlight of the show. Saying that, there were some truly horrible people in this show but the one I just hated was Jennifer Coolidge. I find her presence to be very offputting as she is remarkedly unattractive. Every time she appeared on screen it was like a horror movie jump scare. (I don't understand why she keeps getting cast in movies). This show left a lot of loose ends which was frustrating as well. E.g. One of the hotel staff has a baby in episode 1 which she tries to keep secret. Never see or hear from her again after that even though it was one of the main themes from the episode. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Season 1 is a 9/10. Unfortunately season 2 is an absolute cringe-fest. Full of characters with no morals, doing immoral things, and then concluding that they are all, yes, immoral. Watching this absolute beta husband, let his best friend boink his wife, and then going back to her was truly difficult to watch. What sort of conclusion is that? The show teases mystery with the found bodies, but this is just a tease as it has nothing to do with the couples or the families. I didnt need this to have a happy ending, but if i don't sympathize with any of the characters and nothing good happens to any of them, and there is no arc, why do I care?

Let me illustrate the awful themes of season 2. 1) Don't trust hookers 2) Everyone in Italy is trying to steal your money or boink you 3) If someone boinks your wife, just boink someone as revenge and keep going; in fact, your relationship will be more passionate after this.

In season 1, I thought that the Knives Out film by Rian Johnson wished he had done something like this. Sadly, season 2 ranks for me behind Knives Out: Glass Onion cast. How did Mike from RLM like season 2 better than 1?

Is there such thing as "love at first sight?" No. I think there's lust at first sight. Love is blind but I think it has to be because lust is blinding. From the haunted opening credits song to the ominous Italian busts and paintings watchingIs there such thing as "love at first sight?" No. I think there's lust at first sight. Love is blind but I think it has to be because lust is blinding. From the haunted opening credits song to the ominous Italian busts and paintings watching over this new cast of characters, it's fascinating how this show can feel so unrelatable yet relatable at the same time. On one hand, I'm not a part of the upper middle-class taking vacation at these resorts in exotic locales, on the other hand, the show deals with issues we all struggle with. While season one mostly focused on finding one's self and self worth at our current state in life, season two deals with our place in our relationships, whether with our significant other, family or friends. Less cringe-worthy than the first, this season isn't without it's uncomfortable moments. Still, an amazing watch and I definitely recommend. Expand
