The reason critics don't like it, is because they can't face the truth of American life. The War at Home is a wonderful show. This family seems very real; it's very much like a real, American family. this is actually a great series and i don't understand why it was cancelled. Those people who don't find it funny should stop watching it. I'm sure if there was a season 3 it would be AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

Confuses making the audience uncomfortable with being an edgy sitcom. Abounds with ridiculous sexist, racist homophobic "humor," which would be overlooked if the show was actually funny. The ultimate waste of a good time slot, which could be given to the far superior "Arrested Development." Confuses making the audience uncomfortable with being an edgy sitcom. This show has nothing to do with the average american in my opinion. What kind of people act like this on a daily basis? This reminds me of alot of recent bad films I've seen turned into a full time sitcom. I guess most people who will watch this will be perverts who want Hilary. XP
