Lines We Cross was such a strong, confident episode for a show that has improved SOOOOO much (anyone who's seen Seasons 7 and 8 can agree). Not the most exciting, but it had some great character moments; Carol staring down Alpha, Negan and Lydia meeting, Daryl's friendship with Carol and his "friendship" with Connie, and I know nobody's gonna mention it so I will: The casting for Dante was SPOT ON. He's only in one scene but Juan Javier Cardenas is exactly how I hoped Dante would look and sound. The satelite crash was a cool and unique setpiece. A little out of place in the story and the scene from space was a big wtf, but it totally makes sense. All in all an impressive first outing for the season.… Expand
