Apr 6, 2016Bloody brilliant. Amazingly paced, extremely well-acted, and wholly consuming. "The Walking Dead" will have me nailed to my couch for the next five episodes. Hands-down the best show or movie to feature zombies in a long, long time.

Nov 1, 2016This show is amazing, and I'd love to give it a 10, but it has trouble delivering on a consistent basis. When the show gets bad, it gets bad, and it will falter for 5 or 6 episodes in a row. However, when the show is good, it's one of the best on television. Overall, I'd recommend it to everyone.

Apr 20, 2016The show got off to a great start. It has a beautiful score, deep characters, and tons of great action. My only problems are that it's too short, and the season finale deviates too much from the comic books and i just didn't find it enjoyable.

Oct 15, 2016The Walking Dead is an amazing show! Season 1 despite how short it is definitely had me interested from the start. The Walking Dead season 1 is better than any other zombie show or movie out there in my opinion

Nov 23, 2017A really well directed, acted and paced first season of TV, with an amazing pilot episode. It's a real shame AMC messed with the budget and fired Frank Darabont, resulting in the later seasons not reaching this level of quality.
-
Mar 8, 2019It was good until season 5 and it should have finished earlier for being a respectful series but now it's just about money for AMC.
-
Jul 15, 2019First season is unconvincing, it is just average in every aspect of the series.

Jan 3, 2022Bloody intense. The pilot is groundbreaking. Bloody brilliant. Amazingly paced, extremely well-acted, and wholly consuming. "The Walking Dead" will have me nailed to my couch for the next five episodes. Hands-down the best show or movie to feature zombies in a long, long time.

Feb 24, 2023The Walking Dead starts out bloody and horrifying, and establishes a firm tone for the rest of the series. This season has you routing for all the character’s survival, even the minor cast — with the addition of top-notch performances from Andrew Lincoln, Laurie Holden, Jon Bernthal, and Jeffery DeMunn.

Feb 15, 2019Despite having a couple of really slow moving seasons with some shark jumps and controversial cliffhangers, The Walking Dead remains a standing titan of TV shows. The most recent season has revived the show for me and made it very enjoyable to watch once again. Great characters, great drama.

Feb 25, 2019I remembered just randomly watch this series in the office with my friend like everyday during our internship. It was briliant, we watched till season 7 or 8 and YES. It went downhill, but still this is the first zombie related movie that i watch.

Oct 11, 2021Basado en una serie de cómics del mismo nombre de Robert Kirkman, un pequeño grupo de supervivientes, liderado por el oficial Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), debe luchar contra un mundo lleno de zombis.
Creador: Frank Darabont y Robert Kirkman -
May 17, 2021The kick off of The Walking Dead which made me a fan instantly. A well executed series start in the zombie horror genre with a great mix of good, bad and annoying characters.
-
Feb 12, 2023An action-packed and brutally bloody first series, oozing with memorable and emotional moments. The Walking Dead's first season eclectically mixes spine-chilling horror and a very gripping storyline that follows the lives of many intriguing, three-dimensional characters in a post-apocalyptic world.

Darabont uses the TV-series format to break convention not only by defying the predictabilities of the horror genre (boo!) but also by infusing the recipe with more storytelling elan.
-
I was encouraged that the character-driven third episode was stronger than the zombie action-heavy second, and perhaps the producers will be proven right--that the longer this saga goes on past these initial six episodes, the more it will set itself apart from the zombie canon.
-
The Walking Dead, like any good horror tale, still believes in the importance of monsters, perfectly balancing the struggle of basic human decency with those palsied four-in-the-morning moments when we are convinced that everyone around us is trying to eat us alive
