Summary: 19-year-old Christine Keeler (Sophie Cookson) is at the center of what would become known as "The Profumo Affair," that ensnares her friend Dr. Stephen Ward (James Norton), who introduced her to married War Minister John Profumo (Ben Miles) in this six-part limited series written by Amanda Coe.

Season 1 Review: This doesn't have the wit and verve of that production [A Very English Scandal], but it does have two terrific actors in the roles of Keeler (Sophie Cookson is magnetic) and Mandy Rice-Davies (Ellie Bamber, recently Cosette in Les Misérables). ... I did like much of Amanda Coe's script, which dropped occasional gems and evoked the dry wit of Rice-Davies. Read full review
