The show is really well executed with solid acting, and an initially very intriguing storyline. It falls flat at the tail end though, turning out to be too one-dimensional. Everyone is guilty and killing them is the only response.

Read the book and there are some change but I see why they did it, just like they did with Jack Reacher. Chris does a great job, the action is awesome and it's well paced. Will watch it again for sure.

If I had to sum up the show in one word: gripping. Don't want to spoil it, but this show kept me guessing with its unreliable narrator. Also, Christ Pratt can REALLY act, he's GREAT in this! It's a well done show, well researched. You can tell when they had actual experts on the production team, like with For All Mankind. It gives it that authenticity that most movies and shows only dream of, because they really are just cheap knock offs of the real thing.… Expand

I will admit- after the first 25 minutes of episode 1, I thought the show was a bit generic and noped out. A few days later my buddy was talking about how much he was enjoying it, so I decided to give it another try and holy **** I’m glad II will admit- after the first 25 minutes of episode 1, I thought the show was a bit generic and noped out. The second half of episode 1 is WAY better than the first half and it picks up from there. This show is terrific and I have no clue why the critic reviews are so bad.… Expand

This is on another level. Paid critics won't understand it and will probably hate it because they're all about gender studies and diversity quotas these days. It's hard to make me impressed these days and these series did it. Incredibly well made. Screenplay, editing, music all blends together so well. There were a few times through the season that I thought it was going to get cheesy, cliche, or boring, but this show delivered every time and genuinely caught me off guard a few times. WELL WORTH THE WATCH!!!

This show is emotional, gritty, tough, and will have you routing for Reece.
The story has many directional turns, remains unpredictable, and has surprising twists.

The Terminal List is one of the best shows I've seen, military or otherwise.. This may be my favorite work from Chris Pratt!

I stand by this review, and would recommend everyone watch this show!

p.s. I'm not sure what happened with the critics.. It's as if they didn't watch the show, while I waited until I had finished the series to write a review.… Expand

Compelling clancy-esque action thriller. The cast is great and the high production value is impressive across each episode. The admittedly average plot bares few surprises, but otherwise consider this modern TV at its best.

Requires suspension of disbelief usually required of magical fantasy. Pratt is just not good in this. Wu's performance was the only bright spot.

2/10 because it was proficiently shot and gets the military terminology correct. Antoine Fuqua surely can do better than this..… Expand

A solid show. Makes Chris Pratt a legitimate actor not just a goofy,funny man. Has a compelling story to tell. Really takes off after three episodes. Worth a watch. Basically everything people giving it bad notes is true. Which is actually the reason it's a 10 out of 10.

Maybe 20 years ago it would be a 7,5 or a 8,5, but nowadays its impressive that it even got made.

As always when a new show comes out I have that feeling of dread wondering what nonsense they snuck into this show that I'll have to endure. I didn't hate this. Not much different from any Tom Clancy techo/action thriller. Certainly no worse than John Krasinski's Jack Ryan series. Excellent psychological thriller not for the feint at heart. Really good storytelling I could not wait for each episode and binged. I am a fan of the books so had high expectations and they were beat especially Pratt's performance of the warrior with the haunted stare, PTS, and yet a husband and father. The revenge theme was set up well and him taking out his list was justice served. This is not a PG effort and did well with the realism from combat to how fights work. Fuqua, Carr, Pratt, etc... can be proud of doing a straight up old fashioned thriller set in modern times but with timeless themes of family, brotherhood, justice, revenge, betrayal - well done and highly recommend.… Expand

Very good show, throwback to the Bourne movie era that focuses on action, complex story lines, and conspiracy. First episode takes a little time to hit its stride, but when it does, it kept my interest. Chris Pratt does well in the starring role.

This series is a master-work. One of the all time greats of TV action-thrillers, constant twists and turns, rapid action, well executed plot, exceptional acting, moments of intense emotion and catharsis, a constant and very human morality, and a sense of reality that is refreshing. I started watching, expecting I would take my time with the series...

Ended up binge watching it all in one night.

Personally put this on the same tier as Game of Thrones and the Expanse.

This is TV done exceptionally well. Stop reading: Go watch it.… Expand
