Primitive series with two bad main actress. It's even worse than Jack Reacher.

Regardless of the quality of the show itself, it's always the same neckbeard self-proclaimed "libertarian" asshat who has a grandpa fetish that thinks just because a show gets called out for pandering to the sort of guy that worships the military even though they themselves wouldn't make it a week in BootCamp who insists the critics have some "anti-conservative" agenda and can't accept that their Blue Lives Matter adjacent show is nothing more than HOO-RAH propaganda and not much more. Read some Tom Clancy books or something if you want authentic military storytelling and stop giving Chris Pratt's generic ass attention. This is blatant war propaganda and how every insecure dude fancies seeing themselves in whatever **** made-up scenario they daydream in their head and not much else. Expand

I am half way in and honestly I wish it followed the book more. They changed a ton of stuff from the beginning of the book and made it much worse. It definitely has some badass action but I do feel the story would have worked better as a movie then 8 hour series.
This is my opinion from being a pretty big fan of the book.

I cannot believe the public response to this. It does not have the wit of Reacher or the writing/acting chops of The Old Man, but boasts the same kind of scores. Must be something in the water. It is decidedly average in every respect. It is serviceable entertainment, if slightly slow. And why RottenTomatoes has stopped the vote at 94% is puzzling. Expand

As for the plot, there’s no “sizzle until it fizzles” because the story never really gets off the ground, never gets up and running.

Fans of quality action and thriller storytelling will have a good time with "The Terminal List," even if they'll probably be able to predict exactly where it's going.

The personality of The Terminal List can best be described as “grim,” as are the performances of Pratt and the rest of the cast. Life right now is pretty grim as it is; we don’t need this much monotonous darkness in our entertainment, too.
