O primeiro episódio parece interessante apesar da lacração, mas daí em diante só fica pior. Parece que 90% dos personagens são gays ou lébicas. sem contar a mudanã de gênero de vários personagens. Resumindo, não recomendo

This show is garbage. I only watch the first episode and it was super boring and have garbage political agenda on it. By the end of first episode, there was post credit for 2nd episode and it was full with more political garbage agenda.

When shows like this is released I would love to hear the pitch to the CEO before it was made. This is not a good show and yes it has a political agenda to shove down your throat. Boring. First a bird flew through several scenes, next a man walked down a hallway then lots of people in robes walked about. The show consists of actors moving to and fro. The equivalent of a written story with the same sentence over and over. The equivalent of a written story with the same sentence over and over. The equivalent of a written story with the same sentence over and over. See, it’s boring. Scenery is not storytelling. In visual storytelling the scenes should enhance the story, not detract from it. The point should still be to tell a good story. I’ve noticed an increase in pointless drawn out scenes in movies and shows in recent years. I guess some out of touch fool in film school is teaching this garbage. The fool is wrong. Movies and shows should entertain with a good story, not bore the viewer with drawn out scenes. There are numerous options for my entertainment time and will not waste it sitting in the waiting room.… Expand

Gaiman's work has always been incredible. I have loved everything he's written and one of my favorite movies EVER is Coraline.

There are so many things wrong with this series, but the biggest one is that it is profoundly boring.

The other obvious problem is the lack of fidelity with the source material.

Fans of Gaiman's original graphic works are not going to be happy with the changes that have been made in this interpretation because they have been provided many significant reasons to be displeased.

It's actually difficult to believe Gaiman is as comfortable with this reimagining of his work as he claims.

Regarding the other contents... The costume and set design are intricate and very beautiful.

Alas, it is not good enough to carry the story.

Put another way, if this were being assessed the way you judge a painting, you'd like it a lot more.

The acting is challenging to review because the quality is very inconsistent.

Without naming names, some members of the cast were clearly not selected based on their acting abilities.

In the end, this is a tragic misstep, made with an intellectual property that had enormous potential.

Tragically, it will only be remembered as another example of writers refusing to respect the much loved stories and fans they seek to exploit for profit.

Why studios continue to adopt this approach when it inevitably fails remains a mystery to me.… Expand

Outside of a few CGI scenes this comes off as a cosplay larp...a bad one. Ep 1 was the best episode by far but it goes straight down after that.

I think part of the problem is that the comic just doesn't translate well to live action, there is no space to build emotional and atmospheric qualities. Instead what you get is a monotone delivery of the dialogue that carries no emotional weight.

Then there is the casting which if you value comic book accuracy will disappoint you to put it mildly.… Expand

Just read the original comics. This is so woke that I cancelled my Netflix subscription and clearly told them that this is why. I bet season 2 will be about 2 black ladies taking over for an incompetent Sandman. It will probably be renamedJust read the original comics. Netflix can't seem to make a good series except stranger things and that's hit and miss. I don't need gay stuff thrown into everything I watch. The series based on the well-known The Sandman comics was broadcast on Netflix with great expectations, which unfortunately went in the direction of GET WOKE GO BROKE AGAIN, after the first few minutes! Just bad what has been coming out of HOLLYWOKE for the last 3-4 years, especially the episode in the American Diner, I turned it off, with the best of intentions I couldn't take it anymore and really bad, the character JOHN Constantine, now a small woman with thin arms (Mary Sue) who's also a lesbian?!! Misandry, misandy everywhere you look. Then the longed-for liberator, of course, a ugly black girl etc. etc., horrible, bad, without words...I'm not a racist and I love strong good women (black or white, who cares!), I don't hate gays, lesbians etc. ,my favorite movies are Alien 1979, Philadelphia 1993 and Blade 1998, but must have ALL good protagonists gay, lesbian, trans, women (Mary Sue), black and all white men, being stupid dumb and wimps?! Misandry and contempt against the majority everywhere..
Shame on you HOLLYWOKE!… Expand

More or less all couples are gay, but when it reaches episode 7 it really gets borderline with a drag queen show and a pedofile dialogue in a bar. 3 people, 2 man and a woman are sit in a bar talking about a serial killer that they would like to use as attraction for not clear what show. The waiter approaches the table asking if they want more coffee, when he walks off one of the two man ask how old they think he is, the woman replies 16 or 17 so too old for you, he comments oh seems younger…disgusting, who Netflix is getting seriously sick like all this insane agenda that they insist promoting. Why did I watch it I wonder, probably I should just save the money and stop watching this crap… Expand
