Danny McBride at his comedic best, John Goodman is not mailing in his performance either— very clever writing thus far, and hopefully it can continue.

As a massive fan of both Danny McBride & Jody Hill, I went into this show with high hopes, and I'm happy to say it has not let me down yet! This time around, the drama & world-building truly take center stage, letting the comedy fill in all the blanks. Not much to say, except Danny McBride is the King of Comedy. It's a righteous Comedy about a family who in the name of Jesus and God collect money and use it for their own dastardly desires. You won't get bored at any time

No, I'm not religious but this show adds a spotlight into real welfare families. The way their religion is portrayed is in an honest light which took guts and amazingly works well. What I hated, I don't think these group of idiots could have gotten away withMartin A. - Praise! Praise!

No, I'm not religious but this show adds a spotlight into real welfare families. The way their religion is portrayed is in an honest light which took guts and amazingly works well. What I hated, I don't think these group of idiots could have gotten away with anything. I also don't see how none of their actions ever leaked. Dumb luck seems to be the order of the day.

What I loved. The characters all well rounded and the jokes are hilariously self aware. Just sit back and let your self get taken on a ride of the Righteous Gemstone family day.

This show is a comedy at heart, if you love to laugh, give this show a try. I recommend to see it free till the end before owning it. 7 out of 10.… Expand

So so so so so bad. Oh look, kinda funny clothes. Oh look, kinda funny haircuts. Oh look a gay-subtext group without the courage to actually say anything truthful or insightful about it.
