Season 2 Review:
he Reluctant Traveler With Eugene Levy finds the comedy legend less reluctant, than he was during the show’s first season. But the series is still entertaining, mainly because Levy is so self-deprecatingly funny and because we love seeing him discovering all of these new things in his later years.

Season 2 Review:
Season 2 of The Reluctant Traveler has far less variety in terms of scenery, and it almost feels like it would have been more interesting had the premise for each season happened the other way around. However, when we get to Episode 2, “Scotland: My Mother’s Country,” the European focus begins to make sense.

Season 1 Review:
Although the vicarious tourism is part of the appeal — the show looks good and gives an excellent sense of its diverse settings, from Lapland to Lisbon to the Utah desert — it’s best when Levy is most visibly nervous (which is also when he’s at his funniest) or emotionally moved or connecting with locals.
