The acting, writing, and cinematography of this show is good I suppose. But none of the main characters in the first episode are likeable. And the only character who's nothing but kind, a black female character, gets treated like nothing moreThe acting, writing, and cinematography of this show is good I suppose. But none of the main characters in the first episode are likeable. And the only character who's nothing but kind, a black female character, gets treated like nothing more than a drug dealer. The other black character, a black man, is a literal medicine dispenser so not far off from being a drug dealer as well. While watching, I also found myself asking "why are there so many men?" Despite this being a female-led show, it's actually very male-dominated and that wouldn't be bad or even noticeable if any one of the male characters were actually likeable, charming, or notably attractive. But they aren't. They're just kind of average and annoying. All that being said, this episode relies so heavily on the precocious kid trope (for humor maybe, though I personally didn't find any of it funny) that I don't think it did a great job of building a relationship between the characters and the audience.… Expand
