If you go into The Price Of Glee with the right mindset, you’ll get some good information about just how much pressure the stars and crew of Glee were under. You have to basically ignore the producers’ attempts to link two of the stars’ deaths directly to the show itself, and definitely ignore their attempts to get any of the interviewees to call the show cursed.
-
Ultimately, though, “The Price of Glee” feels trapped by its title, laboring to fill in what are at best dotted lines. That might be the price of garnering attention, but in terms of the project’s credibility, it’s a high one to pay.

The program is, as expected, a tawdry and slight exercise in misery porn, a rehash of tragedy told largely by talking heads, crew members, and people who call themselves friends of the deceased.
-
Thinly sourced and dramatized to the high heavens, The Price of Glee should be ignored and discarded like the gossipy trash it is. ... Perhaps its only redeeming source is George Rivera, father of Naya, who speaks candidly about his late daughter and her 2020 accident.
