Apr 4, 2016This show is painful to watch. The characters have no depth - I don't know if this just maybe mirrors real life?
I was distracted by the number of times David Schwimmer said "Juice". Cuba's impersonation of O.J. is half-hearted - mostly just sounds like he's comically surprised by e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g.
Not a good show. This shouldn't have the rating it does. -
Feb 15, 2016The first episode was quite interesting. Most of the actors resembled their real-life counterpart, except OJ!
It's hard to buy Cuba Gooding as OJ, no resemblance, too short, and his mannerisms were not evocative at all.
The second episode was a real snooze, reenacting the slow motion Bronco chase for the whole show.
I'll be watching the third episode, I hope it gets better. -
Feb 15, 2016Trash TV with a star cast, Goodings performance is hammy, and Schwimmer is doing his Ross impression again. The rest of the cast is fine but it just feels like an expensive daytime soap opera. I dont get the rave reviews, its overwrought mediocrity at best

May 28, 2016I don't know what UEA has with their "killers" and their trials but I couldn't made it through "Jinx" and "Making a Murderer" and, even this is a lot better, I'm not making through this, the quality is there but this is definitely not for all people.

The People v. O.J. Simpson‘s true feat is its ability to build real suspense using moments burned into our national consciousness.
-
A stellar cast, deft storytelling and the drama of a trial that polarized America make for compelling television 21 years later.

If there is just one thing that The People v. O.J. Simpson is, it’s maddening. Fascinating and involved and nuanced and sympathetic, too.
