The OA has always been a show that asks you to surrender, to leave the door open, and Season 2 makes even bigger, bolder asks of its audience. But this time it feels worth it. And it turns out, if you were one of the viewers who believed, who left that door open for The OA all these years, you might have welcomed some bonafide, baffling magic into your home. It’s earnest, self-serious, steeped in spiritual mythology and sci-fi-ish notions about time-jumping and dimension hopping, and heavily focused on the sort of puzzle-solving mystery that lights up Reddit message boards. The first seven and a half hours of Season 2 are really striking, both grief drama and haunted-house mystery. But when the story finally gets where it’s been going the whole time, you realize that not much of what just happened really mattered; all anyone on The OA needs to do to change the scenery is jump dimensions. It has been a long time for me since a series felt so captivating. I`m glad the second season could maintain the same atmosphere which made the first season so interesting but also answered many of the questions, the viewers had. Every detail in this series is precisely planned and althoughIt has been a long time for me since a series felt so captivating. Every detail in this series is precisely planned and although some scenes may seem ludicrous, even this response of the viewer is intended and will later be woven into the original plot. The OA doesn't, spoon-feed its audience, instead it encourages to think of your own theories and the viewer can be sure, this won`t lead into an dead end.… Expand

One of the best Netflix original series so far!! so confusing and mindblowing but still makes me want to see more and more. Can't wait for the 3rd season.

Season one is amazing and asks a lot of questions that shouldn't be answered, I think
But season two proves my mistake and improves because it brings the right answers.

This show is beautiful, innovative. It is wonderfully written and splendidly performed. Every time I watch it I see more. Feel more. It connects you in a way no show ever has.

Although the first season was pretty weak, second season easily makes this show one of the best tv series ever, just give it a chance!

Absolute trainwreck. Garbage. Waste of time. Never does anything in the show get resolved. The characters barely behave like humans. Everything is so weird and wacky just for the sake of being weird and wacky. There is no real substance. It's so pretentious and just tries so hard to beAbsolute trainwreck. Garbage. Waste of time.
