    Thoroughly enjoyed! Similar to the Recruit (TV series). Predictible romance but at least the female character is competent, helpful and smart instead of just an annoying burden on our hero, so that was refreshing!

    It was entertaining and the pace wasn't really too slow. Tough to determine who were good guys and who were bad guys until the end, which is good. Acting was ok and the premise was fun and the lead was pretty good to. But you know the over-dramatization that is bound to happen. Very little WOKE BS, this is now a plus these days. We think this is a "go ahead and watch - you'll probably like it."

    The Night Agent is a pretty standard spy thriller with some surprisingly effective twists at its core. Supported by a stellar cast of talent that form its beating heart, a shaky beginning finds confidence in its parts to piece them into a fun conspiracy puzzle. It could lose a couple of episodes, but you’ll still fly through its 10-part run at lightning speed. Plus,    Final Thoughts:

    Gabriel Basso’s action thriller isn’t a hit by accident. And in Season 3, it’s firing on all cylinders. There’s a star right there.

    It didn’t need to be 10 episodes. A tighter framework would have turned up the heat and made it less of a slow burner. But Chau and Basso make it worthwhile.

    Subversion of the action-thriller norm is a good feature, though it comes with a downside: When the tension between the equally matched pair inevitably turns romantic, some of the air goes out of the show, as detection and action make room for bland soul searching and weak rom-com repartee.
