Apr 23, 2016One of the best shows out there, great plot, characters, and effects. No idea why people are hating, dying for Season 2 to come out, too bad its not happening.

May 2, 2015Now this is a real interesting show, showing the ultimate between good and evil, with the devil doing what he can to stop the Messengers from defeating him. I can't wait to see what CW has planned next for this show, I hope the CW keep up the good work and don't abandon it like so many shows out there have happened.

May 17, 2015After 5 episodes I gotta say this show is turning out even better than I initially thought. I'm giving it a 9 (one point up from my earlier 8 point review). It's exciting and even suspenseful at times. Some things are a little far fetched and sometimes cliché, but that's CW for ya.

May 10, 2015Although with a slow start and not much character development as of yet, I see great potential in the story and I hope it will be a story for the long run. Good actors, interesting concept and definitely worth a watch.

Jun 14, 2015I find the show extremely boring. What I also find hilarious is that the only person they need is an Eskimo character to complete the diversity acid test. They're taking a religious concept and seeing through the eyes of a secular view point. Courageous but extremely stupid. I made it through the first five episodes but I can't take it anymore. Get it out of here.

Apr 20, 2015The CW, for the most part, has had a great season launching new shows. This is the exception. The pilot was murky, uninteresting, and very unclear. It was only by reading the plot synopsis that I realized this was some kind of religious mythology. The characters are flat and their mission is flatter.

Apr 23, 2016This show fails to build any emotional connection between the audience and the characters.I made it through the entire season, but I just didn't care about anything that was happening. This show had potential, but the story just didn't pull me in.

Jul 24, 2016I have started the series on Netflix and was hooked. Love this show and all the characters are easy to relate too. I highly recommend it! My kids and even my husband (a hard critic of shows like this) enjoy it.

It's a bit of a jumble and not particularly compelling.

The Messengers is an appealing and entertaining cross between “Heroes” and “Supernatural” and has the potential to be just the hit The CW needs and viewers deserve.

With such a complicated subject matter, The Messengers certainly has its work cut out for it to stay coherent while still staying accessible. But the pilot moves briskly enough, keeping up the desire to learn how these people deal with their newfound powers and identities, and how they will react when The Man comes a-calling.
