First season was amazing. The second season has WAY WAY WAY too much focus on secondary characters and not enough Mrs. Maisel. I'm forced to skip many scenes. The season 4 opener's final sequence has Mrs. Maisel performing a comedy set that's much more apropos for a Netflix show in 2022 than what stand-up comedy was 60 years. The multiple f-bombs didn't really fly until decades later. Even the Lenny Bruce sequences show his legal troubles were as much about thematic content as profanity. The cast is still strong, but hopefully the story lines won't continue this anachronistic stuff.… Expand
