This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Mrs. Maisel was a breakout comedy the first year. Now the bad news.

The third season is a jam packed whirlwind of “oh my G..we forgot to include every other ethnic group in our first two seasons and by Jehovah we are going to make up for it - but only when we are drunk, and it is 2 AM and we are tired.”

What happened? Jewish guilt? PC culture? Couldn’t you have just decided to have brought in a diverse writing crew and hoped that it would have reflected the bias that privileged white and Jewish intellectual culture represented before voting rights? But no. You had to imagine a reality where a black gay man wasn’t lynched. The writing was an abomination, and was undeserving of a place at the Golden Globes.

Great show with amazing pace and witty dialogues. Very funny, great costumes. Delivers what it promises. 3rd season is a bit weak compared to other two but still a good show.

This show is really terrible. The acting is ridiculous, campy and bad. Everyone is either exclaiming or shouting at the top of their voices, and walking rapidly from room to room. The whole thing gave me a headache.

Guess what? That's the best tv show of the 2010s. Iconic characters, a lot of quotes, music on point, everything's perfect.

In fact, I laughed more often than with 95% of any other comedy show I've seen (and I grew up in the golden TV era). Upon closer look, the acting is very good and the writing is too; "Papa, you are acting crazy. Papa: I assure you this is not an act." Come on, this is good stuff. We'd rate this, "By all means, stream the heck out of this show!" Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The season 4 opener's final sequence has Mrs. Maisel performing a comedy set that's much more apropos for a Netflix show in 2022 than what stand-up comedy was 60 years. The multiple f-bombs didn't really fly until decades later. Even the Lenny Bruce sequences show his legal troubles were as much about thematic content as profanity. The cast is still strong, but hopefully the story lines won't continue this anachronistic stuff. Expand

A time capsule of comedy, this show started strong and has continued to engage, surprise and delight in every season.
