It's sad that a show who's so focused on feminism and praising women's stories would fall back showing its lead going back to old habits with such big red flags and masking it with "protection" and even a weak innocence, and also her getting repelled and punished for standing up to another woman and again, trying to drive the attention with a discourse at the end that's not even being taken seriously by the receiver. It's six decades ago but they are real struggles and should not be taken by this "just go forward bc they don't care" narrative, they SHOULD care. They should be educated, doesn't matter the decade. It's a fictional show after all so use the excuse of it properly.… Expand
