I felt season 2 was much better than season 1. Marcus Shalhoub who plays Tony is absolutely hilarious and is the reason I even considered watching season 2. I'm glad I did as he has alot of camera time on Season 2

I wonder how long can they hold this up. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel packs a staggering amount of energy into every single episode, so much so that binging through it can be exhausting (but in a good way), and I can’t help but speculate as to how long they can keep this up for before the energy begins to wane, but before that day comes, I’m going to enjoy the ride.

    Season 2 is an even

Season 2 is an even bigger blast than season one. If you weren’t already sold by season one, the second season probably won’t make a convert out of you, but for those of us who fell in love from the start, it’s wonderful to see what a marginal improvement this is.

This has always been a great show. The way it makes you feel like 1958-59 New York, Paris, and the Catskills are amazing. In S2 5 and 6, it crossed into the realm of best ever. Alex Borstein is the Marvel in the show.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This season was almost as good as the first season, I still give this season an A+ just like the last one and this is still my 2nd favorite comedy series of all time. The lead acting was phenomenal especially from Rachel Brosnahan, Tony Shalhoub, Alex Borstein, Marin Hinkle, Michael Zegen, and Kevin Pollak. The supporting performances from Zachary Levi, Caroline Aaron, Cynthia Darlow, Justine Lupe, Will Brill, and Erin Darke were stupendous. Luke Kirby, Jane Lynch, Rufus Sewell, Joanna Glushak, Emily Bergl, Jacob Kemp, Connor Ratliff, and Katrina Lenk gave outstanding guest performances. The writing was remarkably hilarious and emotionally touching and saddening. The costumes were magnificent, beautiful, and very well made especially Rachel Brosnahan's, Marin Hinkle's, Alex Borstein's, Caroline Aaron's, Zachary Levi's, Tony Shalhoub's, Michael Zegen's, Kevin Pollack's, and especially the costumes in the episode "Let's Face the Music and Dance". The music featured in the series was terrific. The cinematography was wonderful. The choreography in episodes "We're Going to the Catskills", "Let's Face the Music and Dance", and "Vote for Kennedy, Vote for Kennedy" was excellent. The makeup and hairstyling was superb especially Rachel Brosnahan's, Marin Hinkle's, and Caroline Aaron's. The props were fantastic especially all of the cars, I especially loved Benjamin's car and Susie's moms car. Also the sets and scenery were great especially the Catskills sets and scenery. Expand

As wonderful, playful and heartfelt as season 1, if not more, and Rachel Brosnahan is still on fire.

This time around, the story seems motivated less by the characters’ forward propulsion than by hastily sketching how to get from one fabulous set piece to the next.

Whenever Midge gets up on the standup comedy stage, her scenes are electrifying. ... It’s also a show that can never quite see past its own blinders on anything that doesn’t relate to a 1950s battle of the sexes. It knows issues around race and class exist. It even knows that issues around religion exist. But it never knows what to do with them, because it needs them to remain off camera, so that it might construct a more perfect, candy-coated world.
