    It was not to my liking, I really did not feel empathy for the actors, very overrated. I'm really sorry

In the game you felt something when Sarah was killed in the show she was just annoying. They changed the show so much away from the game this might as well be another Walking Dead episode. Everything moved to slow and in the end of the episode I was bored out of my mind. On the positive side the world around did feel like a world that is in pain. That did came over from the game a bit. But the characters we should care about in this one was just not there. How can you mess up the casting so badly.… Expand

    This is a slap in the face for all fans of the series. Complete misscast. Don't give a damn about canon. The acting is zero. Moreover, most of the original characters do not resemble themselves, both externally and in their moral image. Why not take some Jack from Portland who walks across the country with another girl? I suspect that this is done because the script is crap and it is necessary to somehow attract the viewer at the expense of famous characters. In short, complete parasitism on the original story, which you distort as best you can. I am a big fan of the series and have been waiting for this series for a long time, but I did not expect such a disappointment ... 0/10… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Nope I'm not feeling it. I'm a big fan of the original game but this is a weak adaptation. I tried to like it but it falls so short I just couldn't. I rolled my eyes when the fungus was blamed on climate change. The writing and casting are the weakest links, followed by the directing. The opening of the original game is stunning and has a dramatic impact on the viewer. In the TV show on the other hand, it is completely watered down and diluted so it loses most of that impact. The main players are badly miscast and neither look nor act the part. Also they mumble their lines regularly which is a failure of the director. Pacing is slow, too much talking but not saying anything. Sarah is unlikeable and spends her time scowling, hostile and angry, nothing like the pleasant daughter of Joel in the game. The original game's voice actors for Joel and Ellie are light years ahead of their counterparts in the TV show. And then to the worst part, the complete miscasting of the most important character, Ellie. The casting director should look for a new career.… Expand

    It's really absolutely not good, I won't watch the other episodes any further, oh and just by the way the episode was really boring, thank you very much for 80 minutes of pure boredom, it was really worth it

    It dragged so long! I don't recognise the two main stars as Joel and Ellie. They are completely different. They have changed so much that this is the Last of Us in name only.

    this show is ok. It is not groundbreaking masterpiece or horrible velma level garbage, but it made me like tlou games less. It made me realize how much of a burden gameplay really is in TLOU games. It is sad because I really like story of tlou games, but now when I look back where is no need to play tlou games when show exists. This makes me really sad honestly.

    The Last of Us is about to be The Last of Playstation adaptations. Starting off the year with a dud. They put this out in January to mask the failure.

    Man this is just a cheap rip off of the Walkding Dead, and everyone is sick of that show for years. No more boring zombie stuff, Hollywood!

    Horrific adaptation for what was once a great game. Hopefully it gets cancelled and Naughty Dog get shutdown. Easy 0/10

    I like the game and it cost me 1 hour to watch it cause I am in china.but I got disappointed.
    The choose of Ellie’s actor is an absolutely facking joke.

    disappointing show. so many changes from the game where u cant even recognize that is is base on it. also the cast was terrible from not looking the same to not sharing same emotions of its characters. this should be a good ahow if its not base on the game

    Horrible casting, horrible writing, and a very clearly low budget made this pretty much unwatchable. Not to mention the story in episode 3 didn’t make sense. Replay the game and tell me why they changed it so much.

In a lot of ways the show had a simple job, as the game the show is based on is very cinematic itself, but instead of following that blueprint the show has changed itself needlessly and to its own detriment in numerous ways.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Abby kills Joel in the second game and Ellie let her go when she has the opportunity to kill her and I really hope they will change this part in the TV show because I didn't like it.

    Pedro is good as Joel in the show, but something feels weird with Bella as Ellie (also because she looks like she is 20+ years old when she is supposed to be a teenager).

    As always, Neil (the creator of the game and show) is focusing more in the wokeism than in the actual show (same for the games).    … Expand

    All the scenes do not look very realistic, the apocalypse is not felt. The cast does not match the original. Fake ratings 10/10 does not correspond to reality, the series is not based on a game, but on some kind of illusion

    We will have to wait till amazons fallout to see if theres another arcane, but arcane is still lonely as the only good videogame based movie or show.

    Set 20 years after the destruction of civilization the supposed Joel endure those years apparently not knowing how to fight or survive, after his only second, yesh the 2nd!!!! encounter with a bad guy, get mortaly injuried. Any similarity with the games Joel its coincidential. The Og himself killed over 70 explorers only in pittsburg bringing fear to the whole group of insurgents.     Boring unlike the game, very slow cuz they erase all action and good dialogue, Joel and Ellie still didnt know each other properly in 7 episodes, with only 2 left they are barely developed.

    They crazy, lost plenty of time in useless plots, 3, 7 and even most part of 4 and 5, they better had used that time developing the main characters and the world itself.

    True gamers knows the truth, they will not fall in this cheap version, the rest go and search on youtube TLOU PART 1 full movie and even walktrough if you want to experience a good story.

    Most of the good reviews are for the first episode of january, before they could know how bad they were going to manage the story, thats the only reason of this not being already at 5 or lower.

    Don’t be put off by the mushroom monsters – this is a fully realised human parable, with TLOU evolving into a brutal, passionate, post-apocalyptic western par excellence.
