Jun 26, 2023"The Last of Us: Season 1" is an insult to the groundbreaking video game it's based on. The characters are poorly cast, the storyline drags on, and the adaptation fails to capture the emotional depth of the original. A prime example of how not to adapt a beloved property for television.

Apr 1, 2023"...it was fine." - was how my wife felt about this HBO show after episode 9 drew to a close. And it was. it was also fashionably woke and a tad slow, with budget restraints that elevated it just slightly higher than your average fan fiction. The game was much better, sorry but it was. 3 stars for the 3 clickers that appeared in the entire show.

Mar 21, 2023The show is worse when it moves away from the game's writing, but its insulting when they copy pasted some dialogues just to add a silly line between and change the whole spirit of the scene. Theres laziness doing the show, with a lot of passivity for the details of the original script. The lack of zombies is due to lack of budget in producers words, not due to creative design, is pure medicrity.

Mar 16, 2023I waited till the end to rate the season, glad i did it, it start on level but continue floping till the last episode, they were clueless of what they had in their hands, they forgot to develop the main caharcters, theres no emotional investment to keep going through the season, i had to force myself to finish it.

Not as good as the game... the acting, the pacing, the interactions, the lack of infected and marauders or bandits, unnecessary side stories, deviations from the main story-line. Feels rushed.
The best parts of the TV show are 1-for-1 recreations of the game & the gorgeous scenery of a dead world. -

It cuts 80% of the games scecenes and best dialogue, every change is for worse overall and only in the sixth episode are the only worth dialogue aditions. Ep 3 is not a expansion is a change of the story you d*mb. The whole series feels more like a alternative take of the story than an adaptation.

Feb 12, 20236 its a good punctuation for this series comparing to other tv shows, but it doesnt live up to the video game, also the lack of infected in a lot of the portion of the show (of the first 5 ep, only in 2) makes the world of this adaptation to be a walk on the park compared to the video game, they could at least put them in the background or in stealth scenes.
