I think the hardest thing is that it's a total retake of the game, and don't care about the race issues or the gay stuff other people are whinging about, for me it's just that Joel and Ellie are just too different as characters, Joel seems quite sedate, quiet and less bad ass.. And because of that there doesn't feel to be the building connection between the two from total distrust to eventual love.. Its like in this weird middle gray area where Joel just.. Tolerates everything she does.

In the scene where she shoots the guy.. Joel goes mad at her for shooting in the game and it led to a while where they didn't talk.. Until Joel eventually conceded that it was "him or me".. And the trust began to form..

In the series he's just totally fine with it..

Bottom line is, this isn't the game.. Its not going to be the game and if you're a huge fan of the game you either need to see past the differences, or stop watching and just go play the game instead as its quite clear now that it's more about small things per episode people who love the source material understand.. Rather than giving a faithful adaptation to the the games fans.… Expand

It is slow, very slow. Acting is also not the greatest....and it still looks pretty cheap production.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Après ce 3e épisode plus que moyen (note : 4 pour moi), ce 4e nous fait un peu repartir dans le bon sens ! Bien sûr la série prend quelques libertés vu qu'elle a raté des choses dans l'épisode précédent... Mais cela n'est pas dérangeant !
Après avoir vu des survivants gentils et solitaires, cet épisode nous montre l'autre facette des survivants avec ces chasseurs, même si on en a pas vu grand chose pour le moment, on y voit tout de même Kathleen tuer une de ces connaissances de sang froid et certains de son groupe attaquer gratuitement Joel et Ellie...
Ce qui fait un bon contraste avec l'épisode précédent. Je trouve tout de même que cet épisode aurait pu être mieux, on aurait pu en apprendre plus sur ce groupe, mais malheureusement cet épisode est très court ! 45min... c'est le plus court épisode alors qu'on a eu le 1er épisode à 1h30, 3e à 1h20 et le 2nd à 55min...
Je trouve qu'ils auraient pu plus l'étoffer, et plus montrer ces chasseurs qui chassent, voir même plus d'affrontement avec Joel et Ellie !

Malgré ces défauts, c'est un bon épisode, et on passe un bon moment devant !

J'avais noté le 1er épisode 9, le 2nd 8, et le 3e j'ai mis 4... Celui ci est indéniablement mieux que le 3e avec moins de défauts, mais n'est pas au niveau des 2 premiers épisodes ! Il mérite donc 5, 6 ou 7, pour il mérite un 6, j'ai hésité avec 7, mais il n'est pas exempt de défauts, il es trop court... Et même si à ce moment de l'histoire ne pas voir d'infectés n'est pas dérangeant, avec la cumulation de leurs absences commence à peser !

(par chance on a eu un teasing avec ce béton craquelé qui bouge d'une créature qui approche ! Peut être enfin des infectés dans le prochain épisode !)… Expand

Way too much going on and way too fast. This show is flying through all content and nothing is being setup. Kathleen’s actress was awful.

Ni bueno ni malo... capítulo de transición a la espera de emociones fuertes dentro del género de ciencia ficción que esperemos lleguen pronto.

Episode is great, but until they introduced the Faction "leader." Unsure why they would cast a soft, squeaky voice woman to be their leader. I imagine her driving a van picking up kids, not leading a group of hardened, brutal men in aEpisode is great, but until they introduced the Faction "leader." Very short, nothing special from the plot. Onle great road scenes in the start and scary night sleeping in the wood. Episode ends too soon
