Many, many of Stephen King's stories should not be adapted, but for some reason that is something that has never been clear to many filmmakers.

This story from the collection Four Past Midnight works great as literature, but this 3-hour adaptation is simply ridiculous.
The performances are awful and what to say about the visual effects. The ''monsters'' are some of the worst CGI I've ever seen in my life.

The Langoliers is like an episode of The Twilight Zone that was overextended and didn't know how to work properly, and I say that even though I know that basically everything described in the book was completely adapted.
