Painful to behold. I slogged through to the end partly out of a sense of obligation, partly out of morbid curiosity (about how bad the series could get--not about the plot). Well, it got very bad. The final episode may have been rock bottom in my recent television-viewing experience. I had to spend the whole next day watching Nicholas Ray noir to get rid of the bad taste.

Loved the first 3 seasons but I am part way through the 4th and if it where a phone call I'd hang up. Seems Sarah has lost her good sense. She is trying to get away with something (don't want to spoil it) but has forgotten about technology and something as basic as finger prints. I will force myself to watch the rest but am extremely disappointed thus far.

I thought it was as so-so as the previous season. The final episode poorly wraps up a once promising story line in a disappointing way and the series itself ends on a rather disappointing low note. Shame to see a great premise get wasted on something so poorly executed.

Season 4 was a mess well before it got to the parts designed to wrap up the series for good.

The Killing still has some pulling power, even if the initial thrill of Season 1 is long since gone.

The show's not horrible, like the seemingly indestructible Walking Dead, but I wish it had amounted to more.
