Summary: Dennis Day sings "It's Almost Like Being In Love" and bothers Jack with his squeaky shoes.
Jack plays a big ciy police detective with his assistants Don and Dennis. He's hot on the trail of a murderer with a bizarre parade of suspects including John L. C. Sivoney, an old-time gangster, and a shoplifter with a bizarre taste in merchandise.
