Nov 26, 2016While the scripted parts of the show are scattershot at best, the prefect chemistry between hosts Clarkson, Hammond and May as well as Amazon’s lavish spending makes The Grand Tour one entertaining ride.

Nov 21, 2016Grand Tour takes the gang's Top Gear self indulgence to a new level and is too long.
Still liked it though and I look forward to the next eleven weeks. -

Dec 19, 2016This infantile show is a far cry from Top Gear. The "American" driver should talk less and drive more. Other than the car reviews, everything else can be fast forwarded through.
-
Jan 21, 2017its not top gear rebooted. its way too scripted. feels fake in some way. as for the tour it doesn't add anything to the show. its good but i don't rush home to watch an episode

Nov 19, 2016Honestly, nothing bad to say. I'm glad they kept with the cinematography style from Top Gear. And we can also see they made great use of their budget. And it even looks even better than Top Gear in my opinion.
-
Dec 9, 2016It feels too scripted, and it's frankly speaking, quite unfunny. A few giggles here and there, are ruined by the obviousness of the scripted comedy. The American test driver is a poor choice, as he is about as funny as a sad funeral. I heard talk about a really huge budget, but I wonder, where is that money spent?

Nov 21, 2016I would give the show a 11 if I could!! its a great combination of cars, humour and entertainment.
Amazon, Richard, Jeremy and James have all worked hard on this and the proof is all in episode 1.
I'm looking forward to enjoying the rest of the season. -
Mar 20, 2017Amazing. If you love their humor and chemistry - you'll love whatever show they make.
Old Top Gear or The Grand Tour, not a huge difference.
I really hope they start inviting guests though, real guests who don't "die". -
Nov 20, 2016It is so much better than the new top gear, the grand tour is going to destroy top gear. im glad them three left the bbc because they were running out of ideas.

Nov 26, 2016Perhaps entertaining if your 13 or American. A classic example of how our transatlantic cousins demonstrate that they never deserved to be more than a colony.
-
Jan 4, 2018Jeremy Clarkson is a damned bully. Never liked him. But the old show was definitely better than this one. The Stig was cool, while the american driver is just terrible.
-
Dec 6, 2016Top Gear but bigger and better. Basically if you liked Top Gear you're going to love this, it's almost the same. A few things are different but the most important thing, the banter between the guys is still there.
-
Jan 24, 2019As overrated as it's fanbase is biased and stupid.
The show should've died with the disrespectful host.
Not funny at all. -
Dec 16, 2016I'm watching now GT and new Top Gear (with Evans and Le Blan) and I'm confused, because I like TG more than GT. Amazon made Clarckson, May and Hammond absolutely not crazy
-
Jan 11, 2017We love this show!! It is hilarious, the chemistry between the 3 is perfect, it is not the type of show I would normally watch, but who can resist?? The all family awaits eagerly for each episode, and the laughs rarely stop. Definitely a show to watch!!
-
Jan 13, 2017A classic comedy with 3 naturally hilarious blokes. I've watched top gear for the last decade and this is the same ridiculous and preposterous adventure!
-
Jan 6, 2019The new show is boring at best, and the guys are celebrating themselves. It feels like a few old blokes haven't realised that their time is over, and someone gave them enough cash so the reality hasn't sunk in yet.

Dec 2, 2016The first episode was okay, but the second one was horrible. People seem to forget that the last seasons of Top Gear weren't that great. This is just a continuation of the last seasons, but even less spontaneous somehow.

Feb 21, 2019It's just the best show about cars on the planet. Just turn it on and enjoy it. The specials around the world are amazing and lets pay respect to Clarkson, Hammond and May considering their age and a passion and effort they put to this show. It's just incredible. I wish they will stay active for a long time and the day when we'll say that they are legends is still far away.

Apr 13, 2019Season 1 was meh. Season 2 was better. Season 3 is incredible. The true epitome of what a motoring show should be and what the "Grand Tour" is all about. The variety of episodes with the specials, the shorts, the conversations. Nailed it. Interested to see what the future holds after that last episode!

Clarkson, Hammond, and May’s chemistry and on-camera talent can’t be denied. They are very good at what they do, and the show itself would be innocent fun for car buffs and reality fans alike. But the question The Grand Tour invites in, with its brash mockery of past controversy, is how comfortable you are watching arrogant, wealthy, white men traverse the globe in insanely expensive toys and behaving like 12-year-old boys.

Clarkson, Hammond, and May’s love for machinery--and what human machinery indicates, which is adventure and expansiveness--is still present, pure, and appealing, even with the shift in networks and formats. ... Its ethos is also wrapped up in Clarkson’s glee at having escaped punishment, and in his mockery of the Prius and the bicycle for not being devoted to consuming fossil fuels as quickly and loudly as possible. The show is an embodiment of the self-righteousness of wrongheadedness.
