This episode and many others in this show highlight the absolutely disgusting level of corruption and lack of justice in most American police, sitting there pushing on an innocent man, keeping him awake for hours, driving him practically insane in order to make him LIE and give a false conviction simply because he is so tired and mentally drained, or make him look aggressive and crazy for their own benefit to make him look bad in court. I for one know that the “closure” all these detectives talk about getting for these families in this show are phony, you can point to any random idiot on the street and say “that guy shot your son” and call that closure, it doesnt make it so. And not surprisingly, this isnt just because its a TV show, despite the fact these are all very real situations, which makes it even worse because it makes you think how these police act when a camera isnt two feet away from them.
