There’s an unspoken layer of social justice to Robyn’s mission, and I wonder how far they’ll push that angle in future episodes. (The premiere bends over backwards to show the NYPD cops aren’t the bad guys.) But it has a strong foundation to build from, thanks to Queen Latifah. Read full review

The Equalizer's evolution continues, from that stately old British gent in the 1980s to a couple of Denzel Washington movies to Queen Latifah in a new CBS series. But the character isn't all that's changed, as the show adopts more of a team concept than the original's loner, even if the basic template -- a pretty fun one -- still involves a shadowy savior of those in need. I love the New 2021 Show “The Equalizer” starring Queen Latifah!! The Storyline and all the Actors are Fantastic and Moving! Thank you CBS and The Equalizer Episode 2... Glory for its Powerful Message and Beautifully Done. Our New World is Black Brown Yellow and White... Amen.

The Equalizer in name only, a dull tv show so far away from the original concept that it just adds up to a sad waste of everybody's time, more originals and less reboots please - 2 stars

the secret for any movie or serie is that at some level the viewer WANTS to believe in story. This show push the goodwill of the viewers to far.... there no conection between the story the actress and the viewer. The actress simple doesnt convince ina action role.

The people who produced this little show probably think the viewers are all complete idiots... How else do you explain the fact there is no sense of mystery, danger, plot or anything of substance... Yet another forgettable TV series with a bunch of actors between better jobs.
