    In the world of reality shows, this well-produced series is better than most. Betwixt and between all the emotional upheavals and drama, Coffey, only slightly witchy, dishes out sound advice.

    Watching "Tabatha's Salon Takeover," which is unrated, you can't help but wonder if there shouldn't be a "whip it" show for "whip it" shows--in which an expert would review the tapes and offer advice on how to turn a bad situation around. They could start with this one.

    Admittedly, the poetic joys of hairstyling elude me, but even if Coffey's all that, the new agey platitudes ("She feels this business") grow tedious rather quickly, and the solutions are predictably simplistic.

    i like this show a lot even though i thought i would despise it. i'm proud of myself if i get my hair cut even 3 times a year so the i like this show a lot even though i thought i would despise it. i'm proud of myself if i get my hair cut even 3 times a year so the fact that i actually enjoy this show is pretty amazing. tabatha makes it.… Full Review »

    I have an issue with Tabatha's language. She is trying to help people become successful and professional with their businesses, but I have an issue with Tabatha's language. She is trying to help people become successful and professional with their businesses, but isn't her business critiquing these salons? I do not believe it is necessary to use foul language when she is judging the stylists and owners on the same behavior. Great show, though.. I agree with her tactics, but please, Tabatha, be professional yourself, and lose the "bleeps".… Full Review »
