    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Season 4 is my fav due to the introduction of angels, and Castiel, in particular. Cas is my fav character and the season just got much better since. Now I miss episodes without Cas. Cant wait for season 8 to come out :)… Expand

    this season was the best so far. it took supernatural on a new track with the angels. Misha Collins is amazing. But i would caution the die hard supernatural fans though because the only thing thats the same is Sam and Dean

    My second favorite season of the show. Ugh, I just love how the introduction of the angels especially our beloved Castiel changed the mood of the show!

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This show was an extremely good show, until it came to this season. The original show has compleatly washed down the drain. The writers introduced some characters to the program in season 3, and I thought they added a lot, like bella, a possible love interest for déan, Jo, even though Jo does come back in future episodes, they should have kept her as a main character, aso a love interest for déan. The show has come out of Sam and Dean as hunters who go on jobs, and started with this whole, Angels vs. deamon apocalypse thing. The show, in whole has gone down in standard .… Expand

    Following on from the unexpected events of the previous season, season four of Supernatural continues to go from strength to strength. Building up to the end of the shows original arc (planned to be completed in season five) the creators have yet again been able to combine excellent development of the characters and mythology with some fantastic stand alone episodes. Never afraid to take risks the writers are able to become self referential without ruining the atmosphere of the show and the two leads are as watchable as ever.

    This is my personal favorite season of Supernatural. I loved it from beginning to end. This is where the states where really meet and introduced the fan-favorite Cass. Truly a great season of tv. Supernatural is basically Buffy The Vampire slayer but with guys. Its awesome, kick ass and has one damn rocking soundtrack.

    ...and so begins it's subtle but present demise. I am NOT a fan of the Castiel/Angels direction the show takes from this point onwards. The acting and writing is still terrific, however, so I continue tuning in every week. Jared Padelecki has been challenged by the content in these later seasons, and should probably have been nominated for something.

    this is the season that really took supernatural in a different direction,probably my favorite season(with 5 beinga close second)It introduced us to Castiel and the Angel mythology,which have provided some excellent episodes

    This season is one of the best seasons of television I have ever seen, full of surprises and solid acting I'm glad to have sat through the rather awkwardly predictable season before it.

    We have seen demons, ghosts, vampires, werewolves and all kinds of wicked things on this show before but angels? Holy crap. They definitely did a whole new spin by introducing them into the series. Made it much more exciting.

    Supernatural. Season 4. Heaven and Hell. A new breath of the series. All the old is behind and now a new threat looms, compared with which all the previous toys. Very cool new characters with great charisma that fits their characters perfectly.
