    This was, at least, an involving British drama that had things to say. I just wish it hadn’t done so in borrowed clothes.

    Comparison is the thief of joy and Supacell does a massive disservice to the enthralling character drama of its heroes by aping popular DC and Marvel storylines.

    That Supacell improves as it goes along is perhaps the thing that most distinguishes it from Heroes, which started off strong and soon fizzled. But it doesn’t do enough to distinguish itself from our current overpopulated superhero TV landscape.
