A great drama that brings tech startup, mafia and old school exec investor together.

The characters acting is nothing less than phenomenal. Each and every season brings a breath of fresh season. I'm not sure what metacritic's critics have given such a low score. We need to find a way toA great drama that brings tech startup, mafia and old school exec investor together.

Really good. Amazing acting. Not sure why critics pan it like they do. The plot can be unwieldy but fundamentally extremely engaging. That & the vibe of the show, Miami backdrop and superb acting make it one of the better shows out there imv.

What a mess. The actors give it there all, vut theres almost nothing to work with conceptually and with the writing. Izzy suffers the worst. A character so poorly concieved and written that not even Kate Winslett could save it. This poor conception and writing keeps bashing the viewer overWhat a mess. The russian gangster plot is so poorly written that it begs the question, does the creator understand what research is? This is like silicon Valley, directed by Michael Bay, written by David Goyer. Its an absolute disaster.
Thats not to say its all bad. The show is gorgeous and the actors give it there all, no matter how bad the writing is. The directors also make the best of it, by at least infusing energy into the style of the show, no matter how hard the creator and his goblin writers try to make the audience become dumber by every word uttered. Oh and the title track is great.… Expand

Great acting, especially from Martin Freeman.
Only made it to the start of series 2 before giving up though, as the plot is very weak and full of holes.
Examples are plenty... This is no Breaking Bad unfortunately. Phil is determined to end things, but being blackmailed somehow changes hisGreat acting, especially from Martin Freeman.

Phil is determined to end things, but being blackmailed somehow changes his mind, even though he was already destined to be caught for his crime anyway?

Izzy is happy to screw everyone over because "Gencoin succeeding is all that matters ". But then she's unhappy when it's successful without her...

The team have one last shot to try and get their business back using Phil at the end of season 1, I'm expecting some amazing grand plan - but instead they fail instantly at a very basic plan, and Phil is used against them.
Izzy is supposed to be a genius, but they were all outclassed by a very predictable set of events, and her sister gets killed at random in response.
None of the characters bother to reflect on their failures.

The Russians think Nick is a liability, but instead of killing him they just send him to jail for a very short time.

By this stage you sort of just give up caring about the characters or what happens next, especially to Izzy who is the worst example of a self entitled spoilt brat.… Expand

Absolutely phenomenal. works well with giving viewers a whirlwind of emotion. excellent casting. script. the whole nine yards. fantastic work.
