Iyanla met with Lisa, to discuss the letters she had to write and send to her family. She had to admit that she was living in a fairy tale, and that she, indeed was the villian. She spoke with Iyanla about it, and Iyanla had her repeat it to Jill, the admission that she had been living in denial, as a villian. Iyanla arranged for two poets to stop in and talk to Lisa. They were a married couple, and they went over some exercises on how to be heard, the end result being that Lisa pubicly spoke of her problems in front of a crowded restaurant, and housemates. The housemates were impressed with her progress, especially Kim, who even managed some tears. Jodi met with Iyanla next, the topic was to be about weight loss. The stories came out about binging and purging with a high school friend, and how she was bullemic for some time. Then the topic shifted to her abortion. She felt that gaining wait was her punishment for aborting her child. Iyanla suggested writing a letter to the unborn, Jodi started one. Iyanla also suggested that Jodi keep a poster on the fridge, with a chart of feelings, to make sure she wasnt eating out of emotion, just hunger, Jodi agreed. christie called her ex, Justin, even though she is trying to cut all ties from him. She cites lonliness as the reason, yet she is surrounded by people. She later meets with Rhonda, & tells her that she had been thinking about having a drink. Rhonda refers her to a self-help group, different from the 12 step program. Christie went, but was unimpressed, because she felt those in attemndance were above being addicts. Rhonda shows her that she is just trying to block recovery, and questions her intent. All in all, a great episode, lots of intregal pieces to this puzzle of healing. Jill frets, no word yet from Lisa since she left the house. Same behavior, different day, typical Lisa. Expand
