This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Something terrible happened in the episode. It's obvious that entire scenes were rewritten and voiced over in post. I suspect the original version of this episode was dramatically different which makes this episode almost impossible to watch other than as a logic puzzle to try and figure out what the original script was. I haven't seen voice over this bad since Artemis Fowl. There's even a very bad clip of "M'benga" and the "Klingon ambassador" fighting behind frosted glass that was obviously added in post with terrible voice over. It is a literal hodgepodge of an episode.… Expand

This is the one episode so far that has been more dark and serious in tone. While it was done well, that style doesn't fit the optimistic tone that the rest of the series has set our expectations up for.
