Mar 15, 2023There's a lot of issues with discovery but this was at least watchable and quite enjoyable at times.

Feb 17, 2022This season went full hollywood sjw with lqbtqt "i identify as whatever, pay attention to me and my irrelevant useless story that has nothing to do with star trek"
-
Jan 2, 2022Seasons One and Two were decent and entertaining. But since this series has turned into a politically correct, think as we do or you are a pig crap show. There is relatively no entertainment value in this series. None. It seems to be more of a liberal, political statement. This is sad, as it has turned my family against the Star Trek genre. Rest in peace, Star Trek. You had a good run.

Dec 17, 2021Star trek is not the same as season 1-3 season 4 is just boring and like other views to political correct if this season doesnt improve i wont be back , I’ve always been a treky but this year is boringly very bad

Apr 5, 2021Malon antimatter waste. Need I say more? The same anti-trek ADHD "nu trek" as the Kelvin crap. AVOID
-
Oct 25, 2020A chaotic jumbled mess that splurges across the screen with 2 bombastic cgi heavy episodes that are barely coherent and then.... drops that to present you with what is effectively a second pilot. Then they plod along for a while with a war storyline for half a season before picking up a mirror universe storyline. This storyline is better but ends abruptly to take you back to the original storyline

Apr 15, 2019Terrible! Really terrible! The worst Star Trek series ever, for me as a Trekky every episode hurts more. I'm already wondering what I can give my son as justification for this.

Apr 10, 2019It was painful to watch each episode with so much liberal SJW crap propaganda. And by the way the first officer, Michael fits just right in, is annoying overbearing and arrogant like a typical snowflake.

Mar 31, 2019More about the character' brothers, sisters or whatever's than any type of discovery. It is too character driven and most of them are quite annoying. Almost every story arc is about them. General story line seems a few steps back compared to the originals. Secret factions, alternate realities...

Mar 29, 2019Don't waste one minute of your precious time watching this even if they pay you a fortune to watch it.
-
Mar 25, 2019This isn't star trek, if you liked the old star trek, you won't like this.
If you hated the old shows, then you might like this one. -
Mar 23, 2019This is NOT Star trek, this is Sci Fi but not Star Trek. I just can't stand watching it. Please PLEASE remove it from the air.

Mar 16, 2019This show is awful. The acting is horrendous. Why does the main character, Michael, always whisper? The actress that plays Michael is also terrible, overacting doesn't even begin to describe her skillset. The story is terrible, you find yourself constantly screaming simple solutions at the screen to their idiotic mega-dramatic problems. Just so bad, only good for wasting time or background noise.

Mar 13, 2019Every 5-10 minutes a character will yell rudely at another or act extremely juvenile. There's so many emotional outbursts. Like so much TV, melodrama is everywhere. The sci-fi pushes artistic license too far without the kitsch of earlier Treks to act as a buffer. On the plus side, it's nice to see homosexual characters and for Michelle Yeoh to be able to use her Malay accent.
-
Mar 11, 2019I seriously gave this show a chance, but after few episodes I've given up. no more thank you.
No likeable characters, written by people that don't know anything about Star Trek. I have watched all Star Trek spin offs and this one is the worst. If you want to see what it should be like watch "The Orville"
A Star Trek we should have got and not this PC garbage,,,,,,,, -

Feb 12, 2019Not Star Trek, Uninspiring, unoriginal, boring and dull.

Feb 2, 2019Beverly Hills 90210-Star Trek. This is real "2019" Star Trek....a lot of "Me too", woman power, feelings and emotions - even the Klingons..?! People in 400 years will not be like this! To strange, unrealistic, stupid and therefore nothing for me. I hope the Picard show will be less stupid...

Feb 1, 2019I didn't make it through the pilot. The set design, costumes, casting and writing all seem like a mess and seem completely unconnected to the existing ST universe. I could have watched Star Trek Continues for years. I won't be watching Discovery.
-
Jan 28, 2019This show is absolute trash, such a far shot away from what Star Trek is really supposed to be about. The overall story is weak, and I don't find any of the characters particularly likable. I wish they would go back to their roots, and focus on some of the things that made Star Trek great.

Jan 18, 2019This is not Star Trek. This is generic scifi with bad writing. It is nonsensical and combative. This is not the hopeful vision of the future that Gene Roddenberry had.
-
Jan 18, 2019The story is far more involved with the MIchael Burnham character and forgoing the other characters and storyline. Discovery has now become too far fetched and has very little to do with Star Trek and feels more like a space version of Alley Mcbeal.

Jan 13, 2019I saw the trailer to this just now, and was curious to see what happened to Star Trek with this strange clip. Not only did most of the negative comments express my initial thoughts to a 30 second trailer, but i thank you all for sparing me from this televised diarrhea

Jan 7, 2019Gene Roddenberry is dead. I'm watching The Orville. I gave STD a 2 for having at least great special effects and production value. Would have given another point or two if the characters were more than one dimentional and the writing was decent. Another point docked for putting the show behind a paywall.

Jan 5, 2019Totally SJW agenda based propaganda, I have literally watched more interesting paint dry. If you can't be bothered poking your eyes out with a blunt stick, find anything else to put on your television screen, even fish tank graphics would be more satisfying TV.

Dec 17, 2018SJW crapshow very bad wahmen power film not star trek I mean why do feminists have to ruin freaking everything?
-
Dec 10, 2018This show is laced with political correctness BS from snowflake writers with itchy vaginas. It's absolutely ridiculous at times and totally unrealistic like most of the crap coming out of hollywood. It's a shame really because it could be so much better if it didn't feel the need to ram PC crap down the viewers throats. i can see this being cancelled soon.
-
Dec 1, 2018This is an abomination of what Star Trek is. I Have watched all the previous Star Trek series, and have loved them all, but this were just utter garbage.
-
Nov 30, 2018Like all the others have said - this show is an awful abomination which seems to go out of its way to trample into the ground everything that Gene Roddenberry held dear. Want to watch good, new episodes of Star Trek these days? Watch The Orville.
-
Nov 18, 2018It's full of PC rubbish and Feminist garbage!!! You can tell the lead role is suppose to be a transsexual (looks like a man but is a woman) where the first romance is 2 gay men hence you should keep your kids away from watching this at all costs!

Oct 24, 2018A failed attempt to adapt the Star Trek franchise for a modern audience. Pointlessly edgy and crude, Star Trek Discovery tries to squeeze out as much dark shock value as possible accompanied by little else.

Jul 23, 2018What is there to say, Discovery is one of the worst series I had the misfortune to watch (partially, I canceled my Netflix subscription because of that junk within the trial period). Seldom have I seen a less engaging cast act their way through a quagmire of bad writing and bad characterizations. I was rooting every minute I watched for the protagonist to die so that the torment ends...
-
Jul 14, 2018In how many languages can you say the word CRAP !!! It's that bad ... It's the most friggin diseased pos that I have ever seen,,, ever ! . Please do not do SO2 for god sake !!!

Enterprise was not a bad show. and This show does not seem that bad either. The only thing bad about Enterprise was the Xenti Arch and that awful series finale -
Jun 3, 2018What a let down, leftist rubbish. Not true to the original Star Trek atmosphere. Bad plot lines, bad acting. Should be called something else but Star Trek.

Apr 11, 2018Terrible show. The writing is atrocious. It is Star Trek by name only. Get someone that knows what they are doing on that show and get rid of Kurtzman. That guy destroys everything he touches.
-
Apr 9, 2018Amazing graphics, the story is awful and the show has no charisma. Klingons make no sense and the real timeline is gone. Overall a good scifi but not star trek in any way, i can watch any star trek series all day every day and i do every day and night, but this series is not and never will be one of them, i wanted to like it but i simply can't.

Mar 23, 2018This is not Star Trek. This is a cold, dark, angst-ridden, unfriendly, morally gray, M-rated drama with enough in-fighting between the characters to make Gene Roddenberry roll in his grave. I call it "Dark Trek". It's an abomination. I gave it ten episodes because it's (supposedly) Star Trek, but couldn't stand to watch any farther.

Discovery feels like it’s adrift between the adventure-of-the-week format of its network-TV predecessors and the kind of complex serial favored by cable and streaming.
-
Star Trek: Discovery feels like it's just finding its footing. On the promising side, Doug Jones is already a standout as Science Officer Lt. Saru, who's from an alien race called Kelpiens. And James Frain is perfectly cast as Sarek, the Vulcan who veteran "Trek" fans know as the father of Spock. The relationship between Burnham and Sarek is one of the more intriguing aspects of Star Trek: Discovery.
-
Happily Star Trek: Discovery strikes a balance between what diehard Trekkies love about Roddenberry’s universe and what J.J. Abrams injected into its theatrical resurrection. Ethical dilemmas and a clash between cultures and traditions comprise the fore of the narrative, but the hours don’t skimp on phaser blasts and broadcast-appropriate carnage.
