It's impossible to overrate this episode! It was amazing and devoid of any popular clichés. above all, I really enjoyed the score which wasn't too cheesy and wasn't necessarily made to make people cry. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I could see it coming that they have to play against each other. What did they expect? They choose their best friend, play everyone against the wall and then walk into the sunset with each other? That's not how things are in Squid Game.
But aside from that, very good episode. The old guy gets a satisfying sendoff. The way he tricked Seong was heartbreaking. Also, the interactions between Sae-Bydok and Han Mi-nyeo were very vell done.
