    Some regard this as the beginning of the show's decline. That's a bit unfair because it only declined a tiny bit. The stupider Patrick gets really, the funnier he gets and even Plankton is becoming more 3-dimensional. The only real criticism I agree with is that Patrick sometimes behaves overly mean to Spongebob which is really out of character for him.     Spongebob Season 5 is a very Looney Tunes Style Season. My favorite episodes include Bucket Sweet Bucket, Friend or Foe?, New Digs, Krabs a La Mode, and Roller Cowards. My favorite character is Patrick. My favorite joke is when Plankton turns EVERYONE in the Krusty Krab into babies.

    It's not easy to make an awesome show and keep it that way for nine long seasons, with a tenth one coming soon, Nickelodeon managed to pull it off, and because of that, it's by far the most popular show on the channel. Good job, keep it going with new episodes, Nick!!

    Season 5 may be starting to show a downward trend in terms of quality, But it’s still a decent season.
