The comedy in that is so smart and funny that I think it is a genius idea. The delivery of the back and forth between the goblins is perfectly voiced by Mark Hamill and Neil Ross. Another thing that proves that people who worked on this episode were smart is the reveal that Jason Phillips was Hobgoblin all along. What makes this reveal so satisfying is the realization that Jason was really the best pick for the hobgoblin’s identity. A few episodes back Jason was disgusted and creeped out when seeing a hobgoblin toy which now is so ironically funny due to us realizing that he was actually fascinated by the hobgoblin appearance and that was just a trick played on us by the writers. Another great moment was when Parker’s spider sense worked due to Jason but we and Parker were tricked into thinking that it worked due to Wilson Fisk. That was very smart writing. Philips also is very integral to the story as he sets up the black cat with his betrayal ultimately being what set Felicia on her new path. Norman Osborn is given a lot of conflict and struggle between being a man or a goblin. Him becoming the goblin again feels very organic and natural to the story unlike Rumpelstiltskin constantly becoming the dark one again in once upon a time. Expand
