After a great cliffhanger of venom’s birth at the end of the last episode this one lives up to the hype with venom being the main focus of the story and having more than 90% of the screen time. Venom’s design is even better than in the comicsAfter a great cliffhanger of venom’s birth at the end of the last episode this one lives up to the hype with venom being the main focus of the story and having more than 90% of the screen time. Venom’s design is even better than in the comics with his long pointy tongue and the enormous black body. It could be great to see him for the first time in this episode but the show ruined it by having him in the intro of EVERY single episode. So this is -1 point for the show overall. The plot for the episode is ok but what really makes it shine is the dynamic between venom and spider man. The way they both know each other’s secret identities and talk to each other through metaphors when with other people is fantastic. The joke of aunt May thinking that Eddie is such a nice and innocent man is both ironic and hilarious. The only problem I have is venom’s actual voice. Hank Azaria is fantastic at voicing Brock but when it comes to Venom the voice is not what I feel it’s supposed to be. His voice is just Brock with a lower tone and a double layer but venom’s voice is supposed to be a very monster voice coming from the throat. Expand
