Oct 27, 2013Continues to be a fantastic show. The plot is just so absorbing it's insane, the acting is really good, and the direction is always top-notch. It is hard to find any faults in the show at all.

Sep 12, 2012The season five premiere of SOA was, to say the least, AMAZING. The tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife. This promises to be the best season to date.

Sep 12, 2012An absolutely shocking season premiere. Kurt Sutter does a great job of setting up a villain for each season with a whopper of a first episode. It's going to be great to see Tag on a rampage. That guy's potential for fury seems limitless.

Sep 12, 2012Very strong premiere episode. Very absorbing. Looks like this season could go into some interesting directions. Hopefully not to end in a cheap and tidy way like last season though. Some very cool new characters introduced too. One of them seemingly a little too much like Gus Fring from Breaking Bad though. Not that that's a bad thing exactly.

Nov 7, 2012Yet another show that has absolutely no basis in reality whatsoever, a bad soap opera for men. It would be difficult to find a more dislikeable group of sociopaths. Utter rubbish

Dec 12, 2014Love this show! You will too, don't listen to the haters that get "offended" by every curse word... it's a TV show about a 1% motorcycle club people, they are outlaws and criminals! what did you expect!!?!?!

Feb 20, 2015Kicking off with one of TV's most emotional and brutal main character deaths, SOA's Season five continues the rich depiction of the club's darkest times, even though it may feel overshadowed by ultra violence, irritating character conflicts (Jax, Gemma, Tara,and..Juice), and melodramatic romance.

Oct 11, 2018The plot is beautiful. The characters are awesome. The acting is great. The action is great. It’s one of the most shocking shows I’ve ever seen, Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead included

Sons may be as busy as it is brutal, but at least its heartlessness is in the right place.

Kurt Sutter's epic tale of an outlaw California motorcycle club launches its fifth season Tuesday with the same visceral intensity that stamped season four.
-
The second season revealed artistic ambition, reaching for a certain amount of depth in characterization and storytelling. Assessed on that level, the last two seasons have fallen far short of the mark and it seems season five will only repeat the pattern.
